Hello. I am Karthik Sankaran, a freshman and new DECA member. As a member of DECA, I am a Diamond consultant working with Elite Performance Gym, a gym in Fremont. In my time as a consultant, I was able to achieve my goals of supporting and assisting a business and gaining business experience. Some aspects of Diamond consulting that I enjoy include being able to collaborate with team members and brainstorming ideas to enhance the company. Some fun facts about myself are that I like taking walks and biking outside, meeting and talking with my friends, and love sleeping.

Hey there! My name is Alizah Nauman and I’m a Diamond Consultant working with Elite Performance Gym, a community-based fitness club. Through Diamond consulting, I expanded my business knowledge and experience by implementing marketing strategies within a local business. My team and I worked with Elite to expand their outreach on new social media platforms, publicize their new location, optimize social media marketing strategize, and develop a partnership with another business. My favorite part about Diamond is being able to build connections with business owners and learning from them! Some fun facts about me are that I love photography, fashion design, and meeting new people!

Hi, my name is Josie Hsieh and I'm a Diamond consultant working with Life Campus. As a consultant, my goal is to help improve the state of the company by helping them fix current issues, achieve their goals, and create a plan for the future. Regarding my work this year, in particular, I really wanted to help a company out during this unprecedented time and Diamond consulting allowed me to help a brand new company plan out how everything is going to work which taught me many new things about the business world. Since I am only a freshman, I have so much to learn and this program taught me so much about the early stages of a company and how it's built which to me is really interesting. Finally, some fun facts about myself include the fact that I really love to travel and try new things.

Being able to be part of Diamond Consulting taught me a ton about the real-world experiences of a business. Before starting consulting, I had no idea what the words “deliverables” and “501(c)(7).” The first project I took part in was our very first assignment of creating an SOW for Cabana Club. From there, I contributed a lot towards the deliverables we had planned for Cabana. Excluding the deliverable of EPG X Cabana Club, I gave my all to every other deliverable we did. These included the overview deliverable, which we presented to Tamah, the rebranding deliverable, along with the fundraising and educational pods deliverables. To specify in what I did, color pallets & schemes, overall publicizing content, and website designs are what we focused on for the rebranding deliverable. As for the fundraising deliverable, we reached out to local restaurants such as Krispy Kreme and Blaze Pizza to see if they’d be interested to fundraise for Cabana Club. The educational pods deliverable covered up different groups/clubs that would be interested to pay rent for the clubhouse Cabana Club has. I found those specified clubs, as well as pitching in to make a good discount for students at schools. All in all, Diamond Consulting gave me an awesome way to connect with businesses, while learning things that will help me a ton in the future. From typographies to profit rationales, I'm quite content with all of the strategies I’ve learned in a span of 4-5 months. I would most definitely do it again and would incorporate all that I have learned so far into the new companies for next year.

Hello everyone! My name is Sakshi Thakral and I am a Diamond Consultant working at Cabana Club, a community swimming place in Fremont. My role as a consultant is to help them achieve their short terms and long goals regarding the changes with coronavirus. My main goal was to create a positive and help businesses rise up from the fall due to the pandemic. As a Junior and 1st year in DECA, I enjoyed getting to network through the program and gain insights into how a business really works. Being able to be exposed to a real-life business helped me develop and understand more business concepts and learn what it takes to run one.

My name is Sohan Kale and I am a Diamond Consultant working for Cabana Club. In Diamond Consulting, my team and I helped Cabana Club raise funds after low turnout during the pandemic. We also helped create a partnership between Cabana Club and Elite Performance Gym. I like playing video games and petting my dog.

Hey everyone! My name is Eunice Choi and I am a Diamond consultant working with LIFE Campus, a start-up idea in Fremont. My role as a consultant was to help Chiral's vision of LIFE Campus be able to come to life, which we were able to move one step closer to this year. As a sophomore and second year in DECA, being able to be a part of the planning process was a new experience for me and I was able to learn a lot in the entrepreneurship aspect of business, in addition to expanding my network with the program. Outside of Diamond Consulting, I love baking, working with kids, binging Grey's Anatomy, and meeting new people!

Hello, my name is Prithvi Maddi and I am a Diamond consultant working with Elite Performance Gym, a local gym. This gym faced hard losses in customer retention and acquisition, which I wished to fix. My role was to help was with these problems, which our team assisted in through social media marketing, maps images redesigning, an influencer partnership, and a business partnership with Cabana Club, a similar company. My main goal was to assist Elite Performance gym to the best of my ability as well as being As a freshman, I learned a lot through new experiences as well as learning about real business strategies and marketing in the real world. Some fun facts about myself include that I love dogs, although I don't have one yet, and that I like to make and eat sushi.

My name is Dhruv Gupta and I am a Diamond consultant who worked with Bhojanam & Biriyani, a local restaurant serving Indian cuisine! As a consultant, I strive to help businesses reach their short-term targets and aid them in planning for their long-term vision. This year, I wanted to help out all of the businesses that were hurt by the pandemic, and this program has given me the chance to do just that! Through serving as a Diamond consultant, I've been able to learn more about entrepreneurship and marketing while also creating a positive impact in my local community, and I'd highly recommend this program to all students. Hey! My name is Serena Luk and I’m one of the Diamond consultants working with the Fremont Nothing Bundt Cakes. Our job as Diamond consultants is to help local businesses come up with ideas and plans to meet their business goals. I decided to join this program because I wanted to get some hands-on experience applying the business and consulting concepts that we were taught towards helping actual businesses and people affected by the pandemic. I'm a freshman and this is my first year in DECA, so I really appreciate how this program has provided new opportunities for me to learn with a lot of the first-hand experience and for me to positively impact my community at the same time :)

My name is Jessica Li and I am a freshman here in Irvington, as well as a Diamond Consultant for Nothing Bundt Cakes, a local bakery here in Fremont. As a consultant, I want to help businesses grow and reach their goals. This project really helped expand my expertise and work in the real world, something that I haven't done until now.
